Abstract

Clinical and imaging features of patients with ganglia basal hemorrhage are analyzed in this paper in order to identify those patients who might benefit from surgical treatment.

The most significant factors are: age, location on ganglia basal, lobar prolongation, size, status and outcomes.

Early surgery is indicated in few patients.
